Most of us are familiar with the end products that are sold to us. In its natural state rarely does the consmer get to know how the product has reached its final stage. So is the case with natural cotton crop that is grown in more than 70 countries. It is considered a cash crop for many developing nations. It has been cultivated for centuries. Over a period of time new technologies have been evolved and used in the production of the natural cotton crop. Thus for a long time the natural cotton that was produced had pesticides and were chencially induced to increase crop, create hybrid varieites, increase production and meet demands of developed nations. It has now taken a toll and people with sensitive skin and other allergies were being diagnosed with aggravated conditions. Now with the planet undergoing its worst environemntal threat, the way farmers grow the Natural Cotton crop is once again changing. It is becoming organic or natural without losing its natural and inheritant qualities.
With the changes that Natural Cotton has undergone in its production process by beocming organic the final product that we recive as consumers is healtheir. As more and more consumers are being reintroducd to natural cotton via organic methods, the awareness will improve its versatile applications in clothing and household linen. Many people have already accepted organic fruits and vegetables as healhty alternatives for consumption. It is now a matter of time that Natural Cotton also will be lapped up.
