Cotton for babies

As people are getting more health and environment conscious, they are getting more worried about their newborns. Parents are trying to give their children a comfortable and disease free environment; therefore they prefer cotton clothes, beddings and blankets for their babies. Parents are aware that cotton will not harm sensitive and soft skins of their babies. Also like other synthetic clothes chemicals is not used in cotton clothes. Doctors around the world also recommend cotton for the newborns. Cotton is perfect for the babies in every season. Even in winters doctors recommend to dress up babies in cotton cloth first under the woolen clothes so that the wool can not harm the sensitive skin of the babies.

Blankets and bed spreads for babies should also be in cotton, as it is does not stick to the skins after getting wet like some other clothes do.  In fact, some parents also prefer soft toys made of cotton for their toddlers, instead of harmful plastic and furs which can cause disease like asthma. Some parents are going even a step further as they want only organic cotton clothes, blankets, spreads and toys for their children. Organic cotton is grown without any use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers therefore it is not harmful at all. Organic cotton is also dyed only in natural colours therefore it is best for the babies. However, organic cotton babies clothes, blankets and bed spreads are not available everywhere in stores but they easily available online.
