A cool attitude with a crisp cotton shirt and a matching trouser or skirt makes an instant style statement even in the blandest of occasions. Now there is no need to wrinkle the nose when you can wear a crinkle free cotton shirt and flaunt a chic attitude. What a cotton shirt can do for an occasion a similar T-shirt can do for a weekend soiree as well. With organic cotton clothing making its presence felt in many sectors, it is also an integral part of catwalks worldwide. Tropical areas like the Bahamas, India, Pakistan, Egypt use cotton as the fittest way to beat the scorching sun. Now as tourists travel to these countries, they have been picking up colourful cotton shirts as memories to go by. Now beach lovers are asking if a cotton shirt worn in the hot sun will stop harmful UV rays from burning the skin. Can wearing a cotton shirt combined with the sun tan lotion be effective?
Already there is a cotton shirt, rather a t-shirt that has been developed to help skin from burning. Cotton tees having SPF of UV 50+ to protect the skin have been introduced to patients who are already suffering from some form of skin ailment due to exposure to the sun. A cotton shirt is far more beneficial when it has long sleeves to ensure that the arms are not tanned or burnt when going out in the sun. It seems an ideal way to prolong outdoor activities.
