Turquoise Embellishments Cotton Tunic
White cotton (100% cotton) tunic embroidered all over in white chikan work & embellished with turquoise semi precious stones and multi colored sequins. Stole 50% cotton, 50% polyester. Chikankari is an intricate shadow type of embroidery done with white threads. The stitches in chikankari are unique, delicate and subtle and lie close to the surface of the fabric, giving it a distinctive textural appearance. Filigreed leafs, petals, vines, roses, lotus and arabesques and the inevitable paisley, decorate thin kurtas in Jaali (lace) or shadow-work, ideal for summer heat. The tunic is shown here as an above knee length tunic, long sleeves and round neck. Wash Care: Hand wash with mild soap in cold water. Do not use strong detergents. Dry in shade on a hanger.
