What is pure cotton? How can you distinguish pure cotton from other varieties? It is natural and is grown with less insecticides and chemicals. At the same time, it is natural cotton material which has not been blended with any other material and is 100% cotton by weight. Organic cotton can be called pure cotton in this regard. Linen is also a natural product which is eco friendly. Before man made fibers appeared, it was pure cotton that was used by textile mills all over the world. Th machines used in the textile mills of today for cotton yarn spinning are all hi-tech machines in hygienic environment to avoid any flouting fiber that enters the operative lungs while breathing during their work. The air inside the processing zone known as Blow Room department is continuously circulated after filtering by machines similar to any room air circulators called air circulators in air conditioners which draws the room air through filters and sends it out and circulates fresh air from out side. The filters are continuously cleaned and the floating fibers drawn from the department is also packed in to manageable bundles.
Nowadays pure cotton has become very common among the masses even though earlier it was considered to be a luxury item used by only a minority. But pure cotton has lost its significance to a certain extent because of the fact that blending of cotton has revolutionized the cotton world. Perhaps it’s time to get back to its original state.
